It appears that the blog is LANGUISHING due to lack of enthusiasm of the BOOTROOM stalwarts. I would like to table the motion that we, as a group, pay more attention to the bootroom, and in particular the PREDICTION cup, which did, in fact, fail to kick off this week due to a lack of challengers. I for one would like to step up and challenge Geoff this week to a prediction CLASH OF THE TITANS this week.
All those in favour of the motion?!

Bring it on CT (and Nick). My only regret with that format is that one of the TITANS will have to bow out first. But, I know I won't be regretting which TITAN that is.
Excellent! After the first weekend's "PREDICTION cup -- damp squib" and a lost week on the Cornish coast, the excitement of the cup will be rekindled by our self-styled titans, GG and CT.

Blimey, things are starting to hot up around here ... I just received a set of predictions from Downers Grove's Alison M! CT has graciously stepped aside -- she is a titan of gentility as well as PREDICTIONs -- leaving the path clear for Alison to stomp all over "Doc" Goodwin. I for one am quite excited about this little competition of ours kicking off!
P.s. Doc, Alison, please also send me a prediction for the time for the first goal scored (in minutes from the start of the game, not a.m. p.m. time), in case the scores are tied. Ta.

Jeez! My very first PREDICTION cup and it's awfully intense! I won't even be here for the action, as I'll be in the US, glued to the Illinois v. Penn State game...I'm sure that you'll let me know where I can collect my prize...
Sadly there is no prize except glory, which you can collect on Monday directly from Geoff's quivering hands. Btw, Geoff, where are those predictions?
My PREDICTIONs are just in. Again, I detect some mind games with the reference to mere "predictions".
