Another quote of the day: figure this one out

Commenting on his loss in yesterday's US Open final, Novak Djokovic said: "I think I was mentally weaker today on the important points than he was mentally stronger."
Dr. Goodwin, world expert on reasoning about relations, can you help us out here?

Yes, thanks for that opportunity, Mr. Yeung. I would love to view this as one of my beloved relations between relations, although I admit to having some trouble with it.
Perhaps he means that he (Djokovic) was weaker than his mental average by more than Federer was stronger than his (Federer's) mental average? Alternatively, perhaps it means that he (Djokovic) was weaker than Federer's mental average, by more than Federer was stronger than his (Djokovic's) mental average? Alas, I think it probably boils down to a simple relation: Djokovic was weaker mentally than Federer. Nevertheless, I stand by the claim that relations between relations are literally EVERYWHERE in daily life....

By the way, who knew that NZers could rap this "muthaflippin" well???:
